Dr.Groot’s U.S. Sephora rollout puts a Korean scalp-care line in the same retail setting as better-known skincare and makeup categories.

Dr.Groot has a live Sephora brand page. LG Household & Health Care’s June 1 release says the brand entered Sephora online in March 2026, moved into about 90 key North American stores, and targeted more than 400 U.S. stores in August. Electronic Times and Newspim also reported the staged rollout.

The pre-launch used a dedicated “Hair Tower” display for the SRS line. That is a distribution and merchandising change; the published material does not establish U.S. sales or lasting demand.

U.S. shoppers can now compare the line inside a specialist beauty retailer instead of relying only on an import order. The Olive Young at Sephora guide covers the separate multi-brand version of that retail model.

Retail product or Seoul service

The Sephora rollout is for product discovery and purchase. Seoul’s 2026 Korea Beauty Festival briefly presented a different version of scalp care: its official program included scalp assessment and hair styling at HiKR Ground from June 24 to July 19. That event has ended, but the Seoul K-beauty travel guide explains how to compare an independent booked service with a retail stop.

Questions to ask about a scalp-care service

Ask what the service includes, whether an English consultation is available, and what aftercare is recommended. State sensitivities plainly and ask to see the product information. Persistent irritation requires medical advice rather than a salon package.

A bookable Seoul example: JUNOHAIR MyeongdongStreet

JUNOHAIR MyeongdongStreet Branch, in central Myeongdong, is a practical option for foreign visitors: its English-facing booking site offers head-spa consultations and multilingual assistance. The branch’s Korean service page describes an 18-step scalp-care programme tailored by scalp type, with elements that may include a consultation, cleansing or scaling care, steam or mask care and therapy massage.

The English-facing booking path can make it easier to explain dryness, sensitivity, or oiliness before the service begins. Confirm which of the listed steps are included and whether an English-speaking stylist is available at the selected time.

What to check now

Use Sephora’s live brand page for current U.S. product stock. For a Seoul head-spa appointment, confirm the included steps and language support on the salon’s booking page before paying.
