You can now shop an Olive Young-curated K-beauty selection through Sephora in the United States: the August 20 launch reached roughly 580 Sephora stores and Sephora.com, with about 150 products from 19 Korean brands. For U.S. shoppers, the practical answer is simple: start with Sephora’s live OLIVE YOUNG K-Beauty Edit, then check whether the product is stocked at your chosen store.
CJ Olive Young is presenting a multi-brand edit under its own name inside Sephora’s U.S. network. The launch gives shoppers one retail entry point to 19 Korean brands and reduces the need for separate import searches.
The Dr.Groot scalp-care guide shows how a single Korean category is being introduced through the same retailer.
U.S. stores and online availability
Sephora’s official announcement says the first U.S. activation includes a dedicated Olive Young K-beauty space at Sephora’s Times Square flagship, curated assortments at more than 500 Sephora stores nationwide, and Sephora.com. Korea JoongAng Daily reported the footprint as roughly 580 locations and about 150 products.
Use Sephora’s online Olive Young edit to identify the exact item, then check the selected store before making a trip. Sephora says the assortment can vary with floor space and that some brands may be online-only.
The 19-brand edit
Sephora’s partnership release names all 19 participating brands. The current retail page shows the live product listings and should be used for stock checks. At the time of this check, it included recognizable entry points across hydration, sun care, barrier-focused skincare, masks, and treatment products.
The live edit includes familiar formats: Torriden’s hydrating serum, Cell Fusion C sunscreen, a Rejuran treatment serum, and an S.NATURE sheet mask were among the listed examples at the time of review. Begin with a category already used in the routine, then compare formula, size, price, and stock on the current product page.

Olive Young selects; Sephora distributes
Sephora says Olive Young helped select the initial brands using product performance, consumer popularity, and trend leadership in Korea. Sephora supplies the U.S. stores and website; the 19 brands remain responsible for their products. The result is a retailer-curated assortment, not a single Olive Young product line.
There is also a practical distribution reason. Korea JoongAng Daily noted that the arrangement gives Olive Young branded shelf space in an established U.S. chain instead of requiring a large standalone-store rollout first. The report also noted Olive Young had opened two U.S. stores in California. A 580-store Sephora edit is therefore a much broader customer touchpoint than a two-store direct footprint.
Two stores and a national retail partner
Korea JoongAng Daily reported two direct Olive Young stores in California before the Sephora rollout. The Sephora edit reaches roughly 580 reported locations plus the website, although individual assortments vary.
| Route to the U.S. shopper | Confirmed footprint at launch | What it changes | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|---|
| Olive Young’s direct U.S. stores | Two California locations reported before the Sephora rollout | Offers Olive Young’s own store experience in a limited number of places. | It does not create national convenience on its own. |
| Olive Young K-Beauty Edit at Sephora | Roughly 580 U.S. locations reported, plus Sephora.com | Puts a Korean-retailer-curated assortment inside a familiar national beauty network. | It is a distribution expansion, not a published measure of product sales or lasting demand. |
The table describes access, not sales performance. It shows how much wider the partner network is than Olive Young’s direct U.S. store footprint.
Shopping the edit
Search by a product type already familiar to you, then check the formula, size, price, and store stock on the live page. Limited collaborations can follow a different regional schedule; the Laneige and Matin Kim availability guide shows how to verify that kind of launch.
